Sourcing Impact Assessment
Switching from one contract style to another often involves much more than just redefining requirements. There can be a significant impact on your organisation by changing from an in-sourced model to an outsourced one, or changing from traditional outsourced to As A Service.
Price Benchmarking examines if your Service fee is competitive in the market place – for equivalent services. It can be used to assess costs of your current externally provided Managed Services against the market. It can also be used to assess the cost of services provided with internal staff against the market.
Vendor Segmentation allows you to understand your mix of vendors and how best to manage them with limited resources. It allows you to properly identify your Type One (most strategic) through to Type Four (tactical). With this information you are able to develop a Vendor Management Plan allowing you to focus the most effort on Type One, then Type Two, Three and then Four.
